Getting Started: Your First Watcher

The full path from a new account to a live Watcher in your Telegram Community.

1. Create a Watcher — give it a name from your Watchers page.

2. Configure its persona (and, in effect, its role) — pick a starting preset or write your own description and instructions. See "Personas and Roles."

3. Add Project Knowledge — the facts your Watcher can ground its answers in. See "Project Knowledge."

4. Configure moderation — decide what your Watcher should act on and how. See "Moderation overview."

5. Deploy to a Telegram Community — add the Watcher's bot to your group/supergroup/channel and verify it from the dashboard. See "Deployment" and "Connect a Community."

6. Connect an Escalation Group (optional but recommended) — a private group for your team to answer questions your Watcher can't. See "Watcher Ops / Escalation Group."

7. Test it — ask it a question your Project Knowledge covers, one it genuinely doesn't, and check its moderation on a test message, before relying on it in a live Community.

8. Go live — once you're satisfied, let it operate in the real Community. Everything above stays editable afterward: persona, knowledge, moderation, and deployments are never locked in.
