Watcher Records

The complete configuration and operational identity of one Watcher.

A Watcher Record is the complete configuration and operational identity of one Watcher — this is where you define who the Watcher is and how it should behave.

A Watcher Record can hold: its name, Telegram bot identity, persona (description, tone, style dials), custom behavior instructions, moderation configuration, knowledge it's grounded in, the Communities it's deployed to, escalation settings for its Project, scheduled-content configuration where enabled, provisioning/connection status, and its recent activity history.

Every Watcher starts on a plain, unconfigured default persona — nothing is invented on your behalf. Giving it an explicit persona (a starting preset, or your own description and instructions) is a deliberate, per-Watcher step, never silently inherited from another Watcher or an account-wide default.

Editing a Watcher Record changes how that ONE Watcher behaves going forward — it never retroactively rewrites past conversation history or past moderation decisions.
